Caring for someone is personal. Getting support should feel simple.
You may be looking for help for a parent, supporting a partner through recovery, or arranging care for a relative whose needs have changed. You may not even know which service to ask for yet. That is okay. We can start with a conversation.
- 1
Contact the team
Call, email or WhatsApp us. Tell us about the patient and the help needed.
- 2
We discuss your needs
Our team asks relevant questions to understand the type of care required, the location, expected schedule, and any clinical instructions.
- 3
Physical assessment
Our team visits the patient for a physical assessment of their needs.
- 4
We clarify the options
If the requested care is within our service scope, we explain the possible arrangement, availability, costs, and any next steps required.
- 5
We agree the arrangement
If both parties agree, we confirm the arrangement and explain how care will be coordinated. We then sign a contract.
- 6
Care begins
Your assigned nurse provides support in line with the care plan. Needs change, so we keep the patient, family and healthcare professionals in touch.

Obuntu’s model is based on home nursing and bedside care. Contact us to confirm whether your location and the specific care needs can be accommodated.
Yes, you can contact us to discuss care on behalf of a loved one. We will consider the patient’s wishes, consent and relevant decision-making arrangements.
Tell us the schedule you have in mind. We will discuss whether the requested arrangement can be accommodated, subject to the patient’s needs and staff availability.
We can discuss post-operative and recovery support. The suitability of the arrangement depends on the discharge plan, the nursing needs and the services Obuntu can provide.
You do not need to arrive with a complete care plan. Start by explaining your concerns and the support you think would help. We can discuss whether your needs fit our services and what the next step should be.
The cost may depend on the service, level of nursing support, duration, schedule and location. Contact us for a quotation based on the arrangement you need.
Home nursing arrangements should not be treated as a substitute for emergency care. If someone is experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate assistance from the nearest appropriate emergency or health facility.
Talk to us about your loved one.
You don’t need to wait until things become overwhelming to ask for support. A conversation is a good first step.
